bmarcello » In the settings of the gadget you can define a program to execute by click on the calendar. For this open the gadgets settings, click on “Settings2″, then click the button “Clock / Calendar”. On this page you can see where to input the path for your program.

Your results for the “LAN issues” made me look deeper and found the problem. It is because my gadget include a javascript from my server for checking if updates are available. If there isn’t any Internet connection the gadget stuck while loading.
In the next release (it will come in a few days) it will be fixed.
Regarding you Layout remarks: I know of the problems if not the default font (Calibri) is used. To give additional fonts for selection was a “nice to have”-thing for me, but I didn’t put much time in for testing and solutions.
But meanwhile it seems so me, that there are a plenty of users who make use of it. So I think in the future I’ll rewrite this part to make it more useful.
Thanks again for your comment … and stay tuned for the new version
HI, first of all: thanks!!! I think you gadget is THE definitive gadget.
haha)
Here is some bug report for 2.3:
Network:
-I do not experience indicator stuck(stuck not stock, spelling bug
-I found out that on some occasion(such as changing the disabled/enable state of my LAN card from what it was when the gadget loaded first) the gadget won’t load.(if already loaded it won’t stuck, but it will if you try to change some conf)
-If I change network settings, such as removing WLAN or LAN it requires reboot to get applied.
Layout
I have your gadget installed on both my desktop and laptop and in both of them(Win7-64) I have the full gadget configuration(except for the battery ones on desktop) and I’m facing a layout problem:
Some of the subsection overlap.
You can find some sceen of what I mean here:

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15833846/oth/bugReport/NBI-2.jpg
(Yes I have a folder dedicated to bugReport, I’m a programmer and I can’t hold to give feedback whenever I see a good project)
Since I had this problem in 2.2.9 too, I suggest you to create some user configurable parameters for padding or margin of subsection.
And, Thanks for all, you’re making our lifes better :D
HI, Thanks for this great gadget.
Could link the wincalendar (that is not included in win7 anymore) to outlook / live email?
Danken!
Sometimes when the gadget opens on a fresh boot, it gets stuck at the initial load. Does whether there is a internet connection or not. Have to close it and add it back and then redo all of the settings again.
Sometimes when the gadget opens on a fresh boot, it gets stuck at the initial load. I think this might be when I have no connection (wireless or wired). Even if I then get a connection, it will not reset. Going into the settings, the “small” preview looks correct.
