A few changes and fixes beside some additions for this version.

Hopefully the problem with HP notebooks is fixed now.

Additions are a 2nd clock which can be used with different timezone and alarm. And now margu-NotebookInfo2 isn’t not only able to show usage of DualCore CPU anymore. Now you can show as many cores as you want (but not more than are in your computer ).

Neben einigen neuen Dingen gibt es auch Änderungen und Fehlerbehebungen in dieser Version.

Das Problem mit den HP Notebooks ist nun hoffentlich behoben.

Erweiterungen sind einerseits eine 2. Uhr die mit anderer Zeitzone und eigenem Alarm genutzt werden kann und dann ist margu-NotebookInfo2 nun in der Lage nicht mehr nur die Auslastung von DualCPUs anzuzeigen sondern jetzt für so viele Cores wie Du möchtest (natürlich nicht mehr als auch wirklich in Deinem Computer sind ).

Calendar margu-NotebookInfo2 2.2.0

A new release with a new module: Calendar.

The calendar can show the formats ISO(EU), US, Julian and Islamic. I put the last 2 formats in for religious people who need to know when for example “Ramadan” is.

On statusline you can see different information regarding your actual used format. On ISO and US you see on the down left the day of year of actual day. On Julian you see on the left the JulianDay and on the right the ModifiedJulianDay. If you use the Islamic calendar on the left you get shown the name of the actual day and on the right side the actual year.

If you do a mouse click on the down left information you can quick switch the calendar format and don’t have to go to the settings.

Eine neue Version mit einem neuen Modul: Kalender

Der Kalender kann die folgenden Kalenderformate anzeigen: ISO (EU), US, Julianisch und Islamisch. Die letzten beiden Formate habe ich für  User mit religiösem Hintergrund eingefügt, die z.B. wissen müssen wann “Ramadan” ist.

Auf der Statuszeile werden dem Kalenderformat entsprechend verschiedene Informationen angezeigt. Bei ISO und US wird unten links der aktuelle Tag des Jahres angezeigt. Beim Julianischen Kalender ist unten links der Julianische Tag und rechts der modifizierte Julianische Tag zu sehen. Nutzt Du den islamischen Kalender dann zeigt es Dir links den Namen des aktuellen Tages und rechts das aktuelle Jahr.

Mit einem Mausklick auf din Information unten links hast Du die Möglichkeit schnell den Kalender umzuschalten und mußt dafür nicht extra in die Settings gehen.

Important Update!

Because of a bug in my gadget some users have the problem to get lost of the settings while restarting the computer.

Among one other error I fixed this  and now all should work well again. Please do a complete deinstall of any old version of this gadget before installing the new one.

Wichtiges Update!

Infolge eines Fehlers in meinem Gadget hatten einige User das Problem, daß die Einstellungen des Gadgets bei einem Restart des Computers verloren gingen.

Neben einem weiteren Fehler sollte dieser behoben sein und alles wieder normal laufen. Bitte deinstalliere alle älteren Versionen dieses Gadgets bevor Du diese Version installierst.

I realised that the gadget stop working while running on battery if the gadget gets remaining battery time from Windows. If it is set to calculate the remaining time itself all is running well.

Will try to fix this problem as soon as possible.

Ich habe festgestellt, daß das Gadget aufhört zu arbeiten wenn das Notebook auf Akku läuft und die Restlaufzeit von Windows geholt werden soll. Sobald eingestellt ist, daß die Restlaufzeit selbst berechnet werden soll funktioniert alles reibungslos.

Werde versuchen das so schnell wie möglich zu beheben.
