A new release with a new module: Calendar.

The calendar can show the formats ISO(EU), US, Julian and Islamic. I put the last 2 formats in for religious people who need to know when for example “Ramadan” is.

On statusline you can see different information regarding your actual used format. On ISO and US you see on the down left the day of year of actual day. On Julian you see on the left the JulianDay and on the right the ModifiedJulianDay. If you use the Islamic calendar on the left you get shown the name of the actual day and on the right side the actual year.

If you do a mouse click on the down left information you can quick switch the calendar format and don’t have to go to the settings.

Eine neue Version mit einem neuen Modul: Kalender

Der Kalender kann die folgenden Kalenderformate anzeigen: ISO (EU), US, Julianisch und Islamisch. Die letzten beiden Formate habe ich für  User mit religiösem Hintergrund eingefügt, die z.B. wissen müssen wann “Ramadan” ist.

Auf der Statuszeile werden dem Kalenderformat entsprechend verschiedene Informationen angezeigt. Bei ISO und US wird unten links der aktuelle Tag des Jahres angezeigt. Beim Julianischen Kalender ist unten links der Julianische Tag und rechts der modifizierte Julianische Tag zu sehen. Nutzt Du den islamischen Kalender dann zeigt es Dir links den Namen des aktuellen Tages und rechts das aktuelle Jahr.

Mit einem Mausklick auf din Information unten links hast Du die Möglichkeit schnell den Kalender umzuschalten und mußt dafür nicht extra in die Settings gehen.

Es ist vollbracht. Version 2.1.0 des Gadgets ist fertig und ver�ffentlicht.

Viele Änderungen und Neuerungen sind in diesem Release und ich hoffe Ihr mögt sie. Einiges mehr habe ich schon für die Zukunft geplant.

It takes a bit more time to release the Version 2.1.0 of this gadget, because I’ve added a new module to it.

The new module shows a clock with a build in alarm. On the settings you can choose between different date formats and 12/24h format of the time.

On the gadget itself you can click the time to open the alarm settings. After you’ve set an alarm, on the right side of the time you see a icon which indicates, that a alarm is set. When you move with your mouse over it a bubble help will show you the time the alarm occours.

As soon as the alarm appears, the modules background will blink colour and you can stop the alarm by a click on the icon.

As a gimmick the time is animated, but can switched off, if one like it more simple.

Either I’ve redesigned the colour picker settings. Now there’s a preview pane on the lower left where you can see the choosen text colours on the selected background. I think this helps more to find the right text colours for your need.

I’ve also added a page switch animation in the settings area. It’s only for fun and not realy useful

Es dauert noch ein bisschen, bis ich die Version 2.1.0 fertiggestellt habe, weil ich ein neues Modul eingebaut habe.

Das neue Modul zeigt eine Uhr mit eingebautem Alarm. Auf der Settings Seite kann zwischen unterschiedlichen Datumformaten und zwischen 12/24h Anzeige gewählt werden.

Auf dem Gadget selbst, kann mit einem Klick auf die Zeit ein Einstellungsseite für den Alarm geöffnet werden. Wenn ein Alarm eingerichtet ist, erscheint rechts neben der Zeit ein Weckersymbol. Fährst Du mit der Maus darüber, dann erscheint eine “Bubble-Help” die den gespeicherten Alarm anzeigt.

Sobald der Alarm eintritt, beginnt das Modul farbig zu blinken. Wenn man den Alarm abschalten will, dann genügt es, einmal auf den Wecker zu klicken.

Sozusagen als Gimmick habe ich die Zeit animiert, aber diese kann auch ausgeschaltet werden, wenn jemand es etwas schlichter mag.

Außerdem habe ich die Seite mit dem Farbwähler umgebaut. Es ist nun unten links ein Vorschaufeld zu sehen, auf dem man die gewählten Textfarben auf dem ausgewählten Hintergrund sehen kann. Ich denke so ist es einfacher die richtigen Textfarben für sich zu finden.

Zusätzlich habe ich noch die Seitenwechsel in den Settings animiert. Ist aber mehr nur zum Spaß und nicht wirklich nützlich.
