I have finally found the error! :happy:

Now the gadget should no longer hang. Furthermore, I have given own loops to the modules, so that different refresh rates are possible. Currently, the refreshs as follows:

  • 0,25s for CPU/RAM usage
  • 0,5s for CPU clock
  • 2s for Network
  • 5s Battery
  • 10s Calendar
  • 60s (comes later for the hard drive indicator)
  • all other modules refresh every second

I hope you like it. In a later version I will make the refresh times adjustable for the user.

Nun sollte das Gadget nicht mehr hängen bleiben. Weiterhin habe ich den Modulen eigene Loops gegeben, so daß unterschiedliche Refresh-Raten möglich sind. Zur Zeit sind die Refreshs wie folgt:

In recent months, I haven’t had the time to take care of my gadget. Therefore there were no updates.

But now it looks better again and I bring you an update. Since I now got a laptop with Intel i-Core, hopefully I’ve now found the error that made ​​sure that the gadget stopped after a while. Also, thanks to the diligent users of my gadget, even more languages where added: Polish, French and Italian.

In den vergangenen Monaten fehlte mir leider die  Zeit mich um mein Gadget zu kümmern. Darum gab es auch keine Updates.

Jetzt sieht es aber wieder besser aus und ich bringe Euch hier ein Update. Da mir nun ein Notebook mit Intel i-Core zur Verfügung steht, habe ich nun hoffentlich den Fehler gefunden, der dafür sorgte, daß das Gadget nach einer Weile stoppte. Außerdem sind dank der fleißigen Benutzer meines Gadgets auch noch die Sprachen Polnisch, Französisch und Italienisch dazugekommen.

This update adds support for danish and hungarian language. Further you can add parameters to program calls for the calendar app.
